All my life I have studied and taught different types of art, both formally and informally. As a painter, I try to bring my sense of proportion and light to my canvases. My work embodies a balance of realism and vibrant color that I hope allows the viewer to see everyday objects in a visually interesting way.
My paintings have been exhibited, and sold at the Images Gallery, in Boca Raton, FL, and at the J & W Gallery in New Hope, PA. Many of the paintings you see on this website have won awards at the prestigious Coral Springs Museum of Art and other Exhibitions in the Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton area. For four years I was President of the Boca Raton Museum's Artist's Guild, and served on the Board of Directors of the Museum. Now I am living in the beautiful Western North Carolina Mountains. Teaching and painting in this wonderful place is a true joy.
My work can be seen at the Esmeralda Inn, in Chimney Rock, NC and in New Hope, PA . at J & W Gallery , 20 West Bridge Street.
